Harper Industries, Inc. Proudly Announces the Addition of New Executive Level Leadership

Welcome Luke Thornton & Mark Kiner

Harper Industries is pleased to announce the appointment of Luke Thornton as its Vice President of Operations. Luke will oversee production, engineering, service and sales at Harper.

Luke is a 14 year veteran of Harper. Most recently he served as director of sales for Horsch LLC.

Luke is a graduate of Kansas State University. He and his wife Luciana are parents of two sons.

Tim Penner, President of Harper, commented, “We are quite pleased to have Luke assume this important operational role as we continue to expand our business.”


Harper Industries is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Kiner as its Vice President of Engineering. Mr. Kiner previously served at Charles Machine Works (Ditch Witch) in Perry, Oklahoma as its Vice President of Operations and prior to that in various engineering roles. Mr. Kiner began his service at Harper April 1. Mr. Kiner holds an ag engineering degree from Oklahoma State University.

Heber Ramer, the previous Vice President of Engineering at Harper, has retired.

Tim Penner, president of Harper, commented, “we are very pleased that Mark has decided to join Harper in this very important role. Mark’s wealth of experience in product design and development along with his experience in engineering, production and operations will help take Harper to the next level as it continues its growth trajectory.”
