Our History

Harper Turf’s roots trace back to 1986, when a local entrepreneur partnered with DewEze Mfg., sharing a vision to make slope mowing safer and more comfortable. That early work established a foundation of practical innovation, grounded in delivering dependable solutions turf professionals can count on. In 2002, Harper expanded its turf maintenance and landscaping offerings through the acquisition of Goossen Industries, creating what is now the diversified Harper Turf division. This milestone broadened our turf equipment lineup to serve the golf industry, municipalities, sports fields, and more. Over the years, that progress included advancements in recirculating air technology and the development of the Harper Hawk sweeper line in 2020. The Harper Turf family welcomed the proven Pro Sweep®, Rake-O-Vac®, and Versa-Vac™ debris management products in 2024.
